We are excitedly working on our schedule for the upcoming 2012 R2R Team Roping Season which we have planned events in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, & South Dakota. On Sunday of THE TEN weekend, the debut of the TEN All Girl Roping will see a load of Cash & Six Saddles awarded to the Top 3 teams in the average. Over 600 Teams competed for the $94,461 in Cash & Prizes during the 2011 R2R Finals South of Laurel, Montana at The Cottonwood Equestrian Center. Our largest turn out yet for the #10 Handicap roping with 91 True Teams, saw ropers Rod Rhoads and Jeff Gerhardt make their way to the top spot where they earned $ 4,235 a man, plus the beautiful Jeffrey Scott Buckles, presented by Jeffrey Scott himself. The #9 Warm-Up Qualifier Roping proved to be no less exciting... With the 53 Teams that qualified with their $10 a roper entry fees at each regular season event, only 20 Teams showed up to make claim on the $ 5,500- that had accrued in the pot since May. read more
